Client: DuPont Refinish

An environmentally inspired EU directive obliges all bodyshops to switch to waterborne paints in the course of 2007. To make its customers aware of this major change and to help prepare them for it, car paint producer DuPont Refinish had B·U·T create a dedicated sales tool. This CD, installed on the user’s computer, gives an overview of DuPont’s history, legislative changes in the use of paints and the concrete consequences: what products can still be used and which can no longer. DuPont’s waterborne Cromax paints are promoted with video testimonials from bodyshop owners. To be able to make small changes and add national legislation for each different country, B·U·T added an update function to the programme. The countdown desktop tool that was made earlier, a permanent reminder of the ultimate date to switch to compliant paints, was also integrated.
